The students of classes VI - X of Orchids – The
International School had the opportunity of going on an educational trip to the
Botanical gardens located at Madhapur on November 24, 2012. On their arrival itself, the students were
carried away by the sheer beauty and greenery of the vast landscape garden that
is enriched with different types of huge trees, various species of flowers,
ornamental plants and small ponds with paddling ducks. They enthusiastically toured
the entire garden and gained pertinent knowledge as the Science teacher provided
them with valuable information about the different species of plants along with
their botanical names. After that, they spent some time in the play- pen area;
some of them enjoyed the double seated bicycle ride, rope climbing, shooting
and bouncy. They were also witness to some shooting. It was altogether an
informative, exciting and fun-filled day for all the students.
